It’s been a week since I and 400 other internet marketers left Orlando after cruisin and schmoozin for a week with the likes of Mike Filsaime, Robert Puddy, Donna Fox and Tom Beal – just to name a few.  What a great week it was too!  Lots of fun, learning, building new relationships and catching up with old friends from all over the world.  It took me two days to recuperate and catch up on sleep – but it was well worth it!

I went on my first ever cruise last January and it was also my first ever internet marketer’s cruise.  I didn’t know what to expect.  In fact if I was honest, I have to admit I was a bit hesitant.  Here I was going on my own, on the recommendation of my mentor, Nicola Cairncross of  TheMoneyGym.com.  I’m always up for a new adventure but a part of me also imagined a ship full of newlyweds wrapped up in their new wedded bliss,loads of old people shuffling around with their canes at snails pace or children running rampage. 

I was also still fairly green to the whole internet marketing thing and so I wasn’t sure how much I’d understand from the meetings and I didn’t want the torture of being trapped on a boat for 7 days with hard selling internet marketers trying ram their products down my throat. 

Well to my suprise – there were all types on the boat, I didn’t hear the children for the whole week, there were plenty of singles and hard selling wasn’t allowed.  The cruise was all about learning, having fun, buidling relationships and offering support.   

I met so many amazing, genuine and fun people.  People who are passionate about what they do and who were so generous to offer support and help – it was an awesome experience!

Ok, so I didn’t understand everything during the meetings but as I’ve learned – you take in what you can and let the rest go by – it will come to you again when you are ready. 

So, as I said, went again this year too and was not in the least disappointed. In fact, I got to know some of the really big players who are making serious money online and some of the connections I made could make a serious difference to my online business – watch this space!  I’m so excited!

Last year we were 280 on the Marketer’s Cruise.  This year we were over 400 and it looks like the numbers are going to grow for the January 2011 cruise.  65% of us signed up for next year’s cruise before we even left the ship.

Next year’s cruise will be from Fort Lauderdale and it will be for 8 days not 7 – oh yipee, an extra day of fun!  I’d love you to join us!  And I want you to start thinking about it now!

Your first thought might be – “hey Susanne, don’t you realise that we are in a recession?”  Yes, I do.  But I also know that once you comitt to something the mind has a powerful way to make it happen.

A year sounds like a long time away  but now is the time to start making plans.  If you decide now that you want the experience of a lifetime then you can start stashing away bits of money because, except for a small deposit, you don’t make the full payment until October 2010.  You can cut the costs by sharing a cabin too.  If you decide now your mind will find creative ways to make it happen.
